Navigating PHIA Compliance and Ethical Use of Social Media in Nursing Practice is a new resource from Manitoba’s three nursing regulators (the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM), the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM), and the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM)). This document addresses principles related to privacy, confidentiality, advocacy and responsible social media use.
All nurses are encouraged to review the document and to seek further information should they have questions about applying the guidance in their practice.
