With recent amendments to Manitoba’s The Employment Standards Code, nurses including LPN may be asked to provide sick notes more frequently.
Manitoba’s nursing regulatory colleges have prepared a guidance document to raise awareness of the changes to the Code, and to help nurses meet their practice expectations when providing sick notes.
