New Practice Direction: Therapeutic Relationships and Professional Boundaries

The CLPNM has published a new practice direction on therapeutic relationships and professional boundaries.

This practice direction builds on, and helps explain, the professional expectations already established through the profession’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

Therapeutic relationships and professional boundaries are essential for building trust with clients and maintaining confidence in the profession overall.  All CLPNM registrants are expected to review and act in accordance with the practice directions published by the CLPNM, their professional regulatory body.

Any registrant with questions about how to meet their professional expectations is encouraged to contact the CLPNM Practice Department at practice@clpnm.ca
