Survey: Unpacking Perceptions of Nursing Home Care
The following message is being shared on behalf of Genevieve Thompson, RN PhD, Associate Professor, College of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba, regarding a survey of health care professional’s perceptions of nursing home care.
I hope you are doing well. I’m writing today regarding your potential participation in the project “Unpacking Perceptions of Nursing Home Care: Informing the Function and Purpose of Nursing Homes in the Changing Landscape of Health Care” (funded by the University of Manitoba). This project is being conducted by a group of researchers at the University of Manitoba led by Dr. Genevieve Thompson. We are collecting Manitoba specific data on public perceptions on Nursing Homes (called Personal Care Homes in Manitoba). Your input would help to understand the ideal role that Personal Care Homes ought to play in our society and to develop an in-depth understanding of the purpose and function of Personal Care Homes in the context of our health care system in Manitoba.
If you are interested, please click the link below to view our survey. We anticipate that this survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes of your time. An informed consent will be available at the beginning of the survey if you decide to participate.
Thank you for considering this request. You can contact myself (Genevieve.firstname.lastname@example.org and/or 204-474-8818) if you have any further questions about this project.
