As part of the new Continuing Competence Program, all LPNs will complete a mandatory learning module each year on a topic related to the legislation, practice and standards of their profession.
The 2023 Annual Professional Learning module is now online. This year’s topic is:
An Introduction to The Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)
The RHPA does not yet apply to the practical nursing profession, but soon will. This learning module will describe the changes you can expect to hear more about, in the coming months and years, as your profession transitions from the LPN Act to the RHPA.
The learning module, which is approximately 90 minutes in length, is mandatory for all LPNs prior to registration renewal.
