Board of Directors

The Board of Directors governs, controls, and administers the affairs of the College in accordance with The Licensed Practical Nurses Act.

The Board deals with College business through the appointment of the Executive Director.

The CLPNM Board of Directors is made up of 12 individuals. The composition of the Board is defined in The Licensed Practical Nurses Act (the Act) and By-Laws. The Board includes one President, six elected LPN members, and five public members (three appointed by Government and two appointed by the Board). The Terms of Office are defined in the By-laws.

The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the CLPNM. 

Board of Directors Call for Nominations

The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba is now accepting nominations to fill three LPN positions for the 2024-2026 term on the Board of Directors. The deadline for submissions is February 29, 2024, at 1630hrs. 

In accordance with Article 5 of the By-Laws, election to the Board of Directors shall be held by May 1 each year. These positions will take effect on June 3, 2024. All registrants on the active practising register of the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba are invited to submit names of nominees.
