The CLPNM Board of Directors approved new Standards of Practice and Conduct for the profession in 2021. The Standards articulate expectations for safe, ethical, and competent nursing practice, along with professionalism in the nurse’s conduct. The Standards apply to all CLPNM registrants (including student practical nurses, graduate practical nurses, and licensed practical nurses) in all settings.
Throughout 2022, to help CLPNM registrants become familiar with their new standards, the CLPNM will be posting monthly articles titled “Your Standards in Focus.”
